Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Jia Aili. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,764,000.00 (€ 196,220.57), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jia Aili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Combustion in November this year with an auction result of USD 4,769,000.00 (€ 4,372,020.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jia Aili zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.764.000,00 (€ 196.220,57) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jia Aili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Combustion im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.769.000,00 (€ 4.372.020,54).
