Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Selected Images by Jerry Uelsmann was sold in the The Eye That Shapes: Further Selections from the Peter C. Bunnell Collection auction at Phillips in an online auction in February this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,772.00 (€ 2,614.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jerry Uelsmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (floating trees) in April last year with an auction result of USD 17,640.00 (€ 16,741.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Selected Images von Jerry Uelsmann wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Eye That Shapes: Further Selections from the Peter C. Bunnell Collection bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.772,00 (€ 2.614,60) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jerry Uelsmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (floating trees) im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 16.741,01).
