Auction result well in line with expectations
In February this year Phillips in an online auction held the auction The Eye That Shapes: Further Selections from the Peter C. Bunnell Collection, which included the work Selected Images by Jerry Uelsmann. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,016.00 (€ 1,901.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jerry Uelsmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (floating trees) in April last year with an auction result of USD 17,640.00 (€ 16,741.01).
