Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Tardio by Jeronimo Elespe was sold in the Collection Marion Lambert auction at Christies in Paris in May 2021. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeronimo Elespe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (City), which sold at auction in September 2018 for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,930.95).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Tardio von Jeronimo Elespe wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Collection Marion Lambert bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeronimo Elespe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (City) beobachtet, die im September 2018 für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.930,95) versteigert wurde.
