Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Looking Into A Mirror by Jeong Bo Young was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,350.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeong Bo Young - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Looking, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 427,500.00 (€ 37,371.32).

Die Arbeit Looking Into A Mirror von Jeong Bo Young kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.350,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeong Bo Young mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Looking beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 427.500,00 (€ 37.371,32) versteigert wurde.
