The work Looking by Jeong Bo Young was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. It achieved a price of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,090.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Jeong Bo Young have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Looking in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 427,500.00 (€ 37,371.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Looking von Jeong Bo Young kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.090,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeong Bo Young auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Looking im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 427.500,00 (€ 37.371,32).
