Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Space Left Behind by Jeong Bo Young was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,284.70). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeong Bo Young - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Looking, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 427,500.00 (€ 37,371.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Space Left Behind von Jeong Bo Young kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 14.284,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeong Bo Young mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Looking beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 427.500,00 (€ 37.371,32) versteigert wurde.
