This artwork by Jennifer Lee achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2017. In the Made in Britain auction, the work Rust, Spangled, Asymmetric Pot, Pale Band sold for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,090.71) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jennifer Lee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pale, Two Speckled Shadow Rings in October last year with an auction result of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 73,394.30).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jennifer Lee erzielte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in Britain wurde die Arbeit Rust, Spangled, Asymmetric Pot, Pale Band für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.090,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jennifer Lee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pale, Two Speckled Shadow Rings im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 73.394,30).
