In July 2020 Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale, which included the work Eight of Wands (White Sand #9 Mandala, Rainbow Gradient) by Jennifer Guidi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,825.38), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jennifer Guidi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand) in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 625,000.00 (€ 553,734.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eight of Wands (White Sand #9 Mandala, Rainbow Gradient) von Jennifer Guidi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.825,38) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jennifer Guidi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand) im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 625.000,00 (€ 553.734,38).
