Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work I’m Getting So I Don’t Know If I’m In A Movie Or Making A Movie, Which Comes First, The Movie Or Reality by Jenna Gribbon. The price achieved of GBP 31,500.00 (€ 36,170.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jenna Gribbon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Regarding Me Regarding You and Me in November this year with an auction result of USD 478,800.00 (€ 438,943.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit I’m Getting So I Don’t Know If I’m In A Movie Or Making A Movie, Which Comes First, The Movie Or Reality von Jenna Gribbon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 31.500,00 (€ 36.170,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jenna Gribbon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Regarding Me Regarding You and Me im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 478.800,00 (€ 438.943,89).
