This work without title by Jef Verheyen was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in February 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,526.30), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Admittedly, works by Jef Verheyen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Essentie Ii (Essence Ii) in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 162,500.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jef Verheyen wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.526,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jef Verheyen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Essentie Ii (Essence Ii) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 162.500,00.
