Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jeanne Dunning could be acquired at Phillips in London in April 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Under the Influence auction, the work Sample 10 changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,521.54) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jeanne Dunning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Neck, 1990; And Detail #16, 1992 in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 10,200.00 (€ 8,079.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jeanne Dunning konnte im April 2014 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Under the Influence wechselte die Arbeit Sample 10 für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.521,54) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeanne Dunning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Neck, 1990; And Detail #16, 1992 im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 8.079,85).
