Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Head 10 by Jeanne Dunning was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2001. The price achieved of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,927.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeanne Dunning - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Neck, 1990; And Detail #16, 1992, which sold at auction in April 2006 for USD 10,200.00 (€ 8,079.85).

Die Arbeit Head 10 von Jeanne Dunning kam im Juni 2001 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.927,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeanne Dunning mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Neck, 1990; And Detail #16, 1992 beobachtet, die im April 2006 für USD 10.200,00 (€ 8.079,85) versteigert wurde.
