In October 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Le Fôret by Jean-Yves Commère. The »bidding war« ended at USD 500.00 (€ 367.81), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Yves Commère achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Aux Fleurs in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 5,313.00 (€ 3,908.34).

Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Fôret von Jean-Yves Commère zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 500,00 (€ 367,81) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Yves Commère erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Fleurs im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.313,00 (€ 3.908,34).
