It achieved a price of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,252.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Jean-Robert Ango have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Margaret Of Cortona Finding The Body Of Her Lover, After Marco Benefial in March 2018 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.

Die Arbeit The Creation Of The World, After Michelangelo Buonarroti von Jean-Robert Ango kam im Dezember 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.252,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Robert Ango auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Margaret Of Cortona Finding The Body Of Her Lover, After Marco Benefial im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
