Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work Imaginary view of a hall with antique statues in the Palazzo dei Conservatori, Rome, with visitors by Jean-Robert Ango. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,024.00 (€ 3,528.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Robert Ango - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Margaret Of Cortona Finding The Body Of Her Lover, After Marco Benefial, which sold at auction in March 2018 for EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Imaginary view of a hall with antique statues in the Palazzo dei Conservatori, Rome, with visitors von Jean-Robert Ango zur Versteigerung kam.
