Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Femme et fleurs by Jean-Pierre Cassigneul was sold in the Modern Discoveries auction at Sothebys in New York in March last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,800.00 (€ 34,075.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Pierre Cassigneul achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dans La Roseraie in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 893,000.00 (€ 656,328.09).
