Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Femme allongée by Jean-Pierre Cassigneul was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in July last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 50,400.00 (€ 49,402.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Pierre Cassigneul achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dans La Roseraie in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 893,000.00 (€ 656,328.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Femme allongée von Jean-Pierre Cassigneul kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 50.400,00 (€ 49.402,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Pierre Cassigneul erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dans La Roseraie im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 893.000,00 (€ 656.328,09).
