Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work A Family Dining On A Trellised Terrace by Jean-Michel Moreau. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,750.22). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Michel Moreau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fête De Nuit in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 65,000.00 (€ 92,148.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Family Dining On A Trellised Terrace von Jean-Michel Moreau zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.750,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Moreau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fête De Nuit im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 65.000,00 (€ 92.148,17).
