Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jean Laurent could be acquired at Christies in London in February 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction, the work Dutch vessels in choppy waters changed hands for GBP 70.50 (€ 115.05) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Laurent achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Photographique 'Sevilla', Années 1860/70Album With 104 Albumen Prints On Original Cards, Each Titled, Numbered And With The Photographer'S Name Copied In The Negative At The Lower Edge. in November 2011 with an auction result of EUR 9,375.00.
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Photographique 'Sevilla', Années 1860/70Album With 104 Albumen Prints On Original Cards, Each Titled, Numbered And With The Photographer'S Name Copied In The Negative At The Lower Edge. im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.375,00.
