In February 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, which included the work « Allégeance À La Déclaration Des Droits De L'Homme Aux Antilles» by Jean-Jacques-François Le Barbier. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 434.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Jacques-François Le Barbier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Magnanimite de Lycurgue (The Magnanimity of Lycurgus) in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,050,000.00 (€ 908,933.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit « Allégeance À La Déclaration Des Droits De L'Homme Aux Antilles» von Jean-Jacques-François Le Barbier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 434,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Jacques-François Le Barbier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Magnanimite de Lycurgue (The Magnanimity of Lycurgus) im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.050.000,00 (€ 908.933,52).
