Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study For An Ormolu Candelabrum With A Nymph And Two Satyrs At The Base by Jean-Jacques-François Le Barbier was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2018. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,212.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Jacques-François Le Barbier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Magnanimite de Lycurgue (The Magnanimity of Lycurgus) in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,050,000.00 (€ 908,933.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Study For An Ormolu Candelabrum With A Nymph And Two Satyrs At The Base von Jean-Jacques-François Le Barbier kam im Juli 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion.
