Upper estimate price exceeded by 50 %.
In March last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Sur La Plage - 1909 by Jean-Gabriel Domergue. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,496.00 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Gabriel Domergue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les danseuses de French Cancan in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 164,500.00 (€ 129,588.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sur La Plage - 1909 von Jean-Gabriel Domergue zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.496,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Gabriel Domergue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les danseuses de French Cancan im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 164.500,00 (€ 129.588,78).
