Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Monte-Carlo by Jean-Gabriel Domergue was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,599.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Gabriel Domergue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les danseuses de French Cancan in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 164,500.00 (€ 129,588.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Monte-Carlo von Jean-Gabriel Domergue kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.599,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Gabriel Domergue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les danseuses de French Cancan im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 164.500,00 (€ 129.588,78).
