Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Vintage Posters Online, which included the work Monte-Carlo by Jean-Gabriel Domergue. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,536.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Gabriel Domergue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les danseuses de French Cancan in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 164,500.00 (€ 129,588.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Vintage Posters Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monte-Carlo von Jean-Gabriel Domergue zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.536,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Gabriel Domergue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les danseuses de French Cancan im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 164.500,00 (€ 129.588,78).
