In the Old Master & British Works on Paper auction, the work Portrait Of A Seated Young Lady, Seen In Profile sold for GBP 36,250.00 (€ 40,449.43) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Etienne Liotard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Dutch Girl At Breakfast in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 4,405,000.00 (€ 5,234,092.94).
