A top price for Jean-Etienne Liotard - as previously expected
In July 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work A Dutch Girl At Breakfast by Jean-Etienne Liotard. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000,000.00 – 6,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,405,000.00 (€ 5,234,092.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Dutch Girl At Breakfast is the most expensive artwork by Jean-Etienne Liotard that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juli 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Dutch Girl At Breakfast von Jean-Etienne Liotard zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000.000,00 – 6.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.405.000,00 (€ 5.234.092,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
