The work Studies of figures and a group of spectators by Jean Duplessis-Bertaux was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2002. The price achieved of GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,323.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00.
