Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Choc De Cavalerie by Jean Duplessis-Bertaux was sold in the Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2009. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,625.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Duplessis-Bertaux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Choc De Cavalerie, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 11,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Choc De Cavalerie von Jean Duplessis-Bertaux wurde im Juni 2009 in der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.625,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Duplessis-Bertaux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Choc De Cavalerie beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 11.875,00 versteigert wurde.
