Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Sothebys in London held the auction Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso, which included the work Homme costumé; Femme costumée by Jean Carzou. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,970.00 (€ 14,081.57) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Jean Carzou have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2006 the work Homme Costumé; Femme Costumée was auctioned for EUR 20,400.00.

Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso durch, in der auch die Arbeit Homme costumé; Femme costumée von Jean Carzou zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.970,00 (€ 14.081,57) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
