The work Portraits Of Aimé Benjamin Fleuriau And His Wife, Marianne Suzanne Liège Fleuriau by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau was sold in the Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,929.14). Admittedly, works by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask in October 2001 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 84,927.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portraits Of Aimé Benjamin Fleuriau And His Wife, Marianne Suzanne Liège Fleuriau von Jean-Baptiste Perronneau wurde im Januar 2015 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.929,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Perronneau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 76.375,00 (€ 84.927,17).
