Here, the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,929.14). Admittedly, works by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask in October 2001 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 84,927.17).

Die Arbeit Portraits Of Aimé Benjamin Fleuriau And His Wife, Marianne Suzanne Liège Fleuriau von Jean-Baptiste Perronneau wurde im Januar 2015 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
