However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask, which sold at auction in October 2001 for USD 76,375.00 (€ 84,927.17).
