Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection, which included the work Portrait Of A Young Lady, Possibly Mme D 'Anglure by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau. It changed hands for a price of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,992.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Other works by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2001 the work Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask was auctioned for USD 76,375.00 (€ 84,927.17).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 49.992,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Perronneau konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2001 die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask für USD 76.375,00 (€ 84.927,17) versteigert.
