Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & XIXth Century Art, which included the work Vase De Fleurs by Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer. The price achieved of EUR 9,100.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Bouquet Of Flowers In A Gilded Bronze Urn On A Porphyry Base In An Architectural Setting in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 476,750.00 (€ 531,979.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & XIXth Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vase De Fleurs von Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.100,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Bouquet Of Flowers In A Gilded Bronze Urn On A Porphyry Base In An Architectural Setting im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 476.750,00 (€ 531.979,79).
