Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Femme aux châles jaune et vert devant un rideau by Jean-Baptiste Isabey was sold in the Portrait Miniatures auction at Artcurial in Paris in September this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,280.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Isabey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait D'Eustachine-Jeanne D'Osmond in June 2015 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Femme aux châles jaune et vert devant un rideau von Jean-Baptiste Isabey wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Portrait Miniatures bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.280,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Isabey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait D'Eustachine-Jeanne D'Osmond im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
