Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Artcurial held the auction Portrait Miniatures, which included the work Homme à la redingote bleue by Jean-Baptiste Isabey. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,936.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Isabey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait D'Eustachine-Jeanne D'Osmond in June 2015 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Portrait Miniatures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Homme à la redingote bleue von Jean-Baptiste Isabey zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.936,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Isabey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait D'Eustachine-Jeanne D'Osmond im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
