This artwork by Jean-Baptiste Hilaire achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in March 2015. In the Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings auction, the work "Vue De La Mosquée De La Sultane Validé, À Constantinople" sold for EUR 9,100.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Hilaire achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Sultan Abd-ul Hamid I standing in front of a golden throne, a domed palace in the distance in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 157,000.00 (€ 105,788.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean-Baptiste Hilaire erzielte im März 2015 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings wurde die Arbeit "Vue De La Mosquée De La Sultane Validé, À Constantinople" für EUR 9.100,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Hilaire erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Sultan Abd-ul Hamid I standing in front of a golden throne, a domed palace in the distance im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 157.000,00 (€ 105.788,02).
