Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2002 Christies in Paris held the auction PHOTOGRAPHIES COLLECTION D'UN AMATEUR, which included the work Jeune garçon dans un jardin by Jean-Baptiste Frenet. The price achieved of EUR 3,172.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Jean-Baptiste Frenet have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2002 the work Trois femmes was auctioned for EUR 3,995.00.

Im November 2002 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion PHOTOGRAPHIES COLLECTION D'UN AMATEUR durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jeune garçon dans un jardin von Jean-Baptiste Frenet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.172,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Frenet konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2002 die Arbeit Trois femmes für EUR 3.995,00 versteigert.
