Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Untitled (Screen IV) by Jean-Baptiste Bernadet. The price achieved of USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,134.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Baptiste Bernadet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Fugue - Screen I) in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 86,500.00 (€ 121,963.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Screen IV) von Jean-Baptiste Bernadet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.134,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Bernadet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Fugue - Screen I) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 86.500,00 (€ 121.963,91).
