Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Sothebys in Paris held the auction Living Contemporary, which included the work Sans Titre (Punctum VI) by Jean-Baptiste Bernadet. It changed hands for a price of EUR 4,788.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Bernadet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Fugue - Screen I) in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 86,500.00 (€ 121,963.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Living Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre (Punctum VI) von Jean-Baptiste Bernadet zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 4.788,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Bernadet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Fugue - Screen I) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 86.500,00 (€ 121.963,91).
