The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait de la comtesse de La Rue in February 2009 with an auction result of EUR 2,081,000.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 13.485,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait de la comtesse de La Rue im Februar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.081.000,00.
