Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Little Mickey by Javier Calleja for GBP 1,270.00 (€ 2,125.55). This price was achieved in the auction Evening & Day Editions at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Javier Calleja achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 30 works: Untitled in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 12,108,000.00 (€ 1,346,286.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Little Mickey von Javier Calleja für GBP 1.270,00 (€ 2.125,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Javier Calleja erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 30 works: Untitled im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.108.000,00 (€ 1.346.286,88).
