This work of art by Jasper Francis Cropsey could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art auction, the work Autumn on the Hudson River changed hands for USD 125,000.00 (€ 107,323.77) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jasper Francis Cropsey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Indian Summer On The Susquehanna, which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 432,500.00 (€ 384,923.46).
