This work without title by Jānis Avotiņš was sold in the Kunst nach 1945 II auction at Ketterer in Munich in June 2016. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,875.00 55% above the estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jānis Avotiņš; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot I Saw My Bad Approaching sold at auction in June 2016 with the realized price of EUR 6,250.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jānis Avotiņš wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Kunst nach 1945 II bei Ketterer in München versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.875,00 und damit 55% über dem Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jānis Avotiņš; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit I Saw My Bad Approaching im Juni 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 6.250,00.
