Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work gossip rain, private and public painting by Jana Euler. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,431.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jana Euler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Talking About Love In 4 Different Languages in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 111,299.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit gossip rain, private and public painting von Jana Euler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.431,11) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jana Euler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Talking About Love In 4 Different Languages im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 111.299,08).
