Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paysage fluvial animé de personnages by Jan Wildens was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 15,744.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Wildens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Panoramic view of the city of Antwerp across the River Scheldt in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 425,000.00 (€ 474,762.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paysage fluvial animé de personnages von Jan Wildens wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 15.744,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Wildens erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Panoramic view of the city of Antwerp across the River Scheldt im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 425.000,00 (€ 474.762,88).
