Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A still life with a coffeepot and fruits on a tray by Jan Wiegers was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2009. The price achieved of EUR 25,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Wiegers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Music Hall in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 216,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A still life with a coffeepot and fruits on a tray von Jan Wiegers wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Wiegers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Music Hall im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 216.750,00.
