The work A Collection of Prints by Jan Wiegers was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2006. It achieved a price of EUR 4,560.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Wiegers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Music Hall in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 216,750.00.

Die Arbeit A Collection of Prints von Jan Wiegers kam im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.560,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Wiegers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Music Hall im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 216.750,00.
