This artwork by Jan Weissenbruch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2013. In the Old Masters& 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism. auction, the work Vue Du Leidschendam sold for EUR 16,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Weissenbruch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bomschuiten at sea on a cloudy day in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 345,000.00 (€ 158,348.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 81 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Weissenbruch erzielte im November 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters& 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism. wurde die Arbeit Vue Du Leidschendam für EUR 16.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Weissenbruch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bomschuiten at sea on a cloudy day im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 345.000,00 (€ 158.348,55).
