Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Farms along a stream by Jan Weissenbruch was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2016. It achieved a price of EUR 9,375.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Weissenbruch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bomschuiten at sea on a cloudy day in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 345,000.00 (€ 158,348.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Farms along a stream von Jan Weissenbruch kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Weissenbruch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bomschuiten at sea on a cloudy day im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 345.000,00 (€ 158.348,55).
